ニントップリン活動記録

ニントップとは ニン(心の)トップ(灯火)というチベット語です。
活動紹介で登場するニントプリンとは心の灯火の館という意味で、心身障害者施設の名前です。

初めてのインド訪問の時に、この施設でハンドマッサージをしてあげると、利用者の皆さんから教えて欲しいと言われ、翌年一月滞在してニントプリンの方にマッサージを教えました。

この時の気持ちを忘れないためにインドでの活動グループ名を「ニントップ」としました。

Nintop is the Tibetan word for nin (heart) top (light).
Nintpurin, which appears in the introduction of our activities, means “a mansion of the light of the heart” and is the name of a facility for the physically and mentally handicapped.
When I visited India for the first time, I gave a hand massage at this facility, all the users asked me to teach them, so I stayed in January the following year and taught massage to Nintpurin.
